Join veteran telemark instructor and former PSIA Nordic demo team member Urmas Franosch for a series of clinics scheduled from January through April. This program consists of seven, 3 hour sessions for intermediate and advanced telemark skiers. The series features expert coaching, proven instructional tips, and video analysis in a positive mutually supportive learning environment, along with lots of fun skiing! Space is limited, so please sign up early for this popular program.
Intermediate participants should be able to comfortably ski groomed blue runs on telemark skis using either parallel or telemark turns. Advanced participants should be able to make telemark turns on black runs, and ski moderate ungroomed conditions comfortably.
Intermediate sessions are held on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays (see schedule below).
Advanced sessions will be held on Wednesdays (5 sessions only see schedule below).
Participants may sign up for either 5 sessions (cost $350), or 7 sessions (cost $450). While it is recommended that participants choose one weekday group, missed sessions can be made up on any scheduled day.
Location: All groups meet in front of the Mammoth Mountain Slopeside Center at Main Lodge at 9:00 AM.
